Across this semester you learn and document photography techniques through a series of tasks. Your visual diary this semester will compose of two elements; a Behance (online portfolio) and a Google Doc (to demonstrate your process + capture evidence of engagement with peers works).

Behance instructions:
Each time we work on a visual diary task, we will publish on our project (a type of blog) and share our work without our private team. You should separate each task with a heading (e.g. task 1).
1. Go to https://www.behance.net/ and set up a profile using your student email.
2. You will need to verify your account by clicking on a link sent to your email address.
3. Click the link for your class group: https://www.behance.net/LTCPhotoPractice2020, https://www.behance.net/LTCPhotoApps2020, https://www.behance.net/LTCArtPhoto2020 and ‘follow’ as well as clicking a button underneath stating “request verification”
4. At the top of the page there is a blue button “Create Project”. Click this and set up your Visual Diary posts.
5. You will need to include the number of each task eg. “task 1” and underneath import your images, as well as the text response to your process.
6. Save your work
7. Click continue.
8. It will need a cover photo – this is your overall cover photo for your entire blog. It will need a specific dimension (at least 808 x 632 pixels) otherwise it will not continue.
9. It will need a Project Title – call it “Task 1 – Perspective” and click ‘crop and continue’
10. In basic info, click a ‘creative field’ e.g. Photography
11. In Discoverability add a team and type in “LTC Photo Practice 2020” “LTC Photo Apps 2020” or “LTC Art Photo” and when it pops up select it
12. Click Publish!
To add new tasks to your project, just click “add project” up the top of the page.
Go back into your team site (https://www.behance.net/LTCPhotoPractice2020, https://www.behance.net/LTCPhotoApps2020, https://www.behance.net/LTCArtPhoto2020) and then click on members to view, like and comment on your classmates’ work!
