Exercise 2, Test 1, Far focus

Aperture Extreme Perspective

Camera:  Set your camera to the lowest Aperture (f1.8 – F/5 )

High Vantage Point ……Birds Eye (looking down)

1. Person Looking Up

  • The Eyes MUST be in FOCUS
  • Have your person sit or lay down while you remain standing
  • Have the person look up at you
  • Focus on the EYES!  If the eye are out of focus the whole photo will be ruined.
  • Finish with a couple adjustments of your choice

2. Object

  • Stand over an object.  This can be simple or complex
  • Take the photo looking straight down at the object
  • Finish with a couple adjustments of your choice

3. Looking down at a person doing something- NOT looking at the camera. This should be a photo that gives you the feeling that you are spying on the person from a tall place.

Low Vantage Point- (looking Up)

1. Object Looking Up

  • Lay down on the ground
  • Make sure you are very close to the Object
  • Edit with a couple adjustments

2. Foot

  • You will lay down on the ground below the person or have the person stand on something that makes them taller than you.
  • Have them raise their foot
  • Focus on their foot and blur out the back of them
  • Edit with a couple adjustments
