Learn how to create colour palettes and graphic quotes to use within a Instagram feed.
1. Choose base colours or a base colour using your inspiration photos and mood boards and create a colour palette for your prac 2, use the Canva colour palette generator and Colour calculator.
2. Using Canva Instagram post templates create three different quote samples that you could potentially use for your prac 2 grid. (Complete this task even if you do not intend on using quotes in your grid. You can incorporate quotes, facts, song lyrics, poems etc. that are relevant to your brand/products.
3. Add these items as part of your planning in your Visual Diary along with a reflection on this task.
Suggested template for reflection:
- What did you learn from this task? (Use “I can…” as a sentence starter)
- What did you like about this task?
- What was difficult? (Use “I am struggling with…” as a sentence starter)
- How did you solve problems?
- Is your image successful, if so, why?
- What adjustments (edits) did you do to your image? (include before and after and camera settings if available)
- What else could you change if you had more time or resources?
