Ansel Adams was an American Photographer who dedicated his life to capturing the natural landscape / wilderness of Yosemite National Park in the USA. His photographs were so accurate that the exact day and time of each shot can be determined by the lighting conditions revealed. His work helped to save many wilderness areas within the USA including a mountain range later called Mount Ansel Adams surrounding the original park.
Ansel Easton Adams (February 20, 1902 – April 22, 1984) was an American photographer and environmentalist. His black and white landscape photographs of the American West, especially Yosemite National Park, have been widely reproduced on calendars, posters, books, and the internet.
